Object description: Offset, everted rim; wide, shallow bowl with convex profile; horizontal, rounded handles on upper body; tall, conical base. Buff clay; matt, buff slip; matt, red and semilustrous, dark brown paint. On floor centre whirligig encircled by two concentric circles; on inside of rim eleven groups of vertical bars alternating with vertical zigzag lines; two bands on outside of rim; outside of handles painted; animal frieze on upper body: on one side lotus and palmette ornament between sirens and panthers; on opposite side swan between sirens and swans; added red paint and incised details; large and small cross-incised rosettes as filling ornaments; on lower body five bands of varying width; line encircling base edge.
