- Object description
- Plain rim; rounded body; raised, rounded, U-shaped handles at mid-body; thick, short stem; disc base in two degrees. Yellowish red clay; lustrous, red paint (probably misfired). Interior painted, except reserved band at inside and top of rim; lip and handles painted; frieze in handle panel on both sides with two figures in silhouette, holding unidentifiable objects (in one case possibly a horn), flanked by a palmette fan on each side; lower body, stem and base painted; underside of base painted; on bottom a central dot encircled by a narrow band.
