Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Ch’ing, 17th century. Description: Reddish-brown horn, transclucent at lip. Exterior decorated with stylized t’ao t’ieh border around waist, four “raising blades”, and, on pouring side at lip, three dragons. Seven climbing dragons in open-work form the handle. Inside plain, except for a keyfret border around lip. Measures: H. 112mm L. at lip 105mm; at base 30mm. Purchased: In London 1963 at Bluett & Sons. £ 50-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2388.”
