Fyrsträngad s.k. månluta i trä. En stämskruv samt tre band på halsen saknas.

På en månluta, en s.k. yüe-chin (pinyin: yueqin), sitter de fyra strängarna två och två tillsammans i två lopp. Den spelas antingen med plektrum eller med fingrarna. Lutan används mycket i populärmusik och är vanlig i teaterensembler./CR
