Object description

The wing/plumes of the mythical mermaid known as kindura (Sin.). Kindura appears in the Kolam story Sanda-kinduru kathava (Sin.). The plumes are made of wood, vel kaduru (Sin.) (Nux vomica).

Object description: Ett trekantigt träföremål, är buktigt på ena sidan och har på sin spets mittemot en 70 cm, lång och 28 cm. bred brokigt målad vinge. På ömse sidor om denna befinner sig ett hål att sticka in vingar i. Anordning en fästes på ryggen eller i nacken.
