Son till Lars Erik Lindgren (1828-1911) och Johanna Fredrika Torstensson (1840-1922). Bror till Emerence (1867-1947), Sally (1876-1964) och Therèse Lindgren (1864-1959), Stockholm. Gift 23 juni 1909 med Ellen Wanda Friedericke Maximiliana Johannsen von Polesk.

Kyrkobokförd i Hedvig Eleonora (Artillerigatan 47), Stockholms stad.
