I am a German collector of African art and after my retirement I found pleasure in researching the background of some acquisitions and publishing the work on a blog. I published three-part blog 2020 about my Duala boat model, in German and French. (1) History of the Duala (2) acquisition and context (3) Description and first detailed interpretations I am working on a sequel in a wider horizon. I found wonderful no.1900.32.0597 as fig. No.3 in a short eccentric study of Leo Frobenius „Der Kameruner Schiffsschnabel und seine Motive“, Nova Acta LXX no.1, Halle 1897“. I’ll send links and a jpg by Email to smvk.se Yours Detlev
