I specialinredd väska och blått textilfodral över väskan ligger 23 arkeologiska föremål från tre faser: Ciboney (siglo I al XIV), Sub-Taínos och Taínos Agricultures (siglo VII al XIV) samt "Artefacto de uso común a todas las culturas primitivas cubanas).

Föremålen är original och fem reproduktioner (# 13,-16, 20).

Kungafamiljen, hovet, har förärat Etnografiska museet med ett flertal betydande samlingar. Denna samling, från Gustav VI Adolf, bestående av dokumenterade Precolumbiska föremål från Cuba berikar i hög grad museets bestånd av precolumbiska föremål från Karibien, inte minst från taino-kulturen. Introduction to the collection

The Royal family has honored the Museum of Ethnography with several important collections. This collection, from Gustav VI Adolf, consisting of well documented Precolumbian objects from Cuba enriches the museum´s pool of Precolumbian objects from the Caribbean, e.g. from the Taino culture. Gustaf Vl Adolf har gjort stora insatser inom kulturlivet, med tyngdpunkt inom arkeologin, understött och finanierat forskning, arkeologiska fältarbeten, etc.
Gustaf Vl Adolf var kännare av äldre kinesisk konst och fornkunskap och innehade en egen stor gedigen och kvalitativt högtstående samling. Gustaf Vl Adolf har även medverkat vid tillkomsten av Stat.hist.mus:s stora och dyrbara östasiatiska samlingar.
Gustaf Vl Adolf har gjort värdefulla inköp av fornföremål för Nationalmuseum.
Sedan 1911 var Gustaf Vl Adolf ordf. i fören. Nationalmusei vänner. Konstsamlare, bl a av modern sv. konst, särskilt handteckningar och grafik. /US
