Bjällra i ljust trä med tre järnkläppar. MacGaffey skriver om "ndibu" att det är "A wooden dog bell. African dogs do not bark, so the hunter ties a bell around the dog to be able to tell where it is. Dibu is likely to be used with minkisi that hunt down witches"

Mest troligt är att de flesta av de "ndibu"-klockor som finns i samlingen använts för rituella ändamål. Att döma av bilder och foton var de "ndibu"-klockor som användes på hundar vid jakt, enklare gjorda, utan mönster och detaljer. Just det nogranna arbetet och överflödet a detaljer tyder så på att dessa klockor använts vid religiöa sammanshang. (Se t.ex. Kurt Olofssons bilder i Etnografiska Muséets bildarkiv)
Instrument ses så som röster av andar och behandlas som egna nkisi, inte bara tillhörigheter till en huvud skulptur eller liknande. (MacGaffey, 1991:81)
