Skulptur utskuren i ljust trä som föreställer en mansfigur bärande ett djur på axlarna. Magen är tatuerad och hår, skägg och bröstvårtor är markerade med svart. Ögonen är av porslin. Skulpturen liknar de klassiska bembe skulpturerna som ibland kallas sibiti efter samhället där de tillverkas.HTB
"This tribe (babembe) is known mostly for its statues/.../ Sometimes called sibiti figures, after the name of the principal village, the most characteristic feature is the rich scarification on the stomach, in curved and angular designs. They all have eyes inset with mirror, shell or glass. The... pointed beard stained in the same color as the hairdress".(Segy, L. 1989, s.211)
