- M. P. J. Laporte, född 18??, Frankrike (?), död ????, skomakare och samlare, verksam i Peru 1880-talet. Han fick ekonomiska problem till följd av kriget mellan Chile och Peru och sålde sin samling av arkeologiska föremål till Hjalmar Stolpe i mars 1884 när Vanadis kom till Peru.
