Angående korgar vilkas brukas för bördor "bindes under den en aflång träbit, mbende kallad, med en urhålkning för stafven. Då bäraren behöfver hvila eller flytta bördan från hufvudet till axeln, ställer han bördan på stafven." Hammar, 1907:164.
