Kranium. Delvis grön/brunfärgat. Vitt märke på överkäken.

Spår av rött färgämne. Uppgift enligt originalkatalogen: "Kranium. Utan underkäke. Nya Guinea?".

Osteologisk analys av Damien Huffer, Stockholms Universitet 2018-02: man, 25-35 år. Generally mixed suture scores, but some scores of 1 are borderline open. All crypts present, minimal wear on in situ molars. Robust male, but scores mixed. Pronounced but uneven polishing and patina from handling or use. Small possible flecks of paint (orange and red) on parietal, frontal, occipital. FM possibly artificially enlarged, but also possibly post-mortem. Much of basicranium anterior of FM missing. Some adhering soil in ears and stains from roots. Teeth lightly stained by soil and calculus. Some white streak staining on palate. Bird or bat droppings? Some measurements not possible due to post-mortem damage. No mandible. Most max teeth lost post-mortem but those that remain in good condition. Mising basicranium around FM likely post-mortem. Two patches of periosteal woven bone on the parietals. Not associated with any obvious healed trauma.
