Anteckning på kraniet: "24"
Osteologisk analys, Damien Huffer 2018-02: ung man, 15-20 år. All sutures except palatine open, but lower occipital and much of basicranium removed post mortem. Substantial taphonomic modification and damage overall. No mandible. Only right side dentition present, but only M3 (erupted, unworn) is in good condition - others damaged postmortem. Scores mixed but lean male, rather robust. Relatively clean with very minimal adhering soil but (in basicranium) remnant of an insect casing or pupa. Staining is light brownish-grey, patchy, but subtantial presence of bleaching, weathering and exposure w/areas of ectocranial surface removal and surface pitting (pathological?) on right occipital. Postmortem damage or bone loss in several areas, including max alveolus. Small post-mortem hole in left temporal (not likely for brain removal a la Asmat ndambirkus). Cupric staining on right asterionic region. The number 24 written in pencil on left parietal. Several traits unmeasurable due to missing bone. No trauma. Possible porotic hyperostosis on occipital (?). No other obvious pathology distinguishable from taphonomy and postmortem damage. Aside from postmortem breakage, teeth and gums are healthy.
