John Abel Södergren, född 30 augusti 1886, Värmdö, död 1 augusti 1947, missionär.

Son till lantbrukare August L. och Wilhelmina Andersdotter. Genomgick missionsskolan 1909-1913. Reste till Kongo 1913. Han var trolovad med Helga Blomgren som också utreste 1913 till Kinkenge men som dog i Kongo 1914. John gifte sig 1917 med Maria Persson-Wikholm. Fick sonen Sigfrid 1920, född i Brazzaville.

Södergren syns på bild i Brazzaville, Ngouedi, Kingoye och Matadi.
