Kahongoryba :: princess

Object description: Gustav de Vylder writes in his diary (15 and 19 December 1873) about "a Damara princess, Kahongoryba" whom he met at Otjozondjupa (Waterberg). He bought objects (an ostrich egg and an girls' apron) from Kahongoryba (De Vylder 1998:157-161)
