Object description: Ångfregatten HMS Vanadis seglade jorden runt mellan 1883 och 1885. Med ombord fanns Etnografiska museets grundare Hjalmar Stolpe och fotografen Oscar Ekholm. Resan resulterade i 7500 insamlade föremål och drygt 700 glasnegativ. Den 180 kg tunga fotografiska samlingen är nu digitaliserad i sin helhet.
