Aside from including them on ceremonial costume, vibrant and lustrous feathers were also added to peoples clothing or hair simply for their beauty.

Valued for their feathers and image, birds are also appreciated for their songs. Either in the wild or kept as pets, the audible and sensory joy of bird song is cherished across the world.
