MME 1969:736 :: tapestry, textile fragment

Object description: Fragment of spearhead shape panel, colours red, green, black, brown and brownish white. In the centre of the textile is a stylized animal figure, four birds (possibly ducks) surround the animal. On the right, in the tapered part of the spearhead shape is an ornated pattern. Two band borders, the inner border is a monochrome band, outer border is a wave crest pattern.
