Object description

Stamnoid krater with lid. Uneven ridge on inside of neck; everted rim; cylindrical neck; piriform body, tapering towards base; two high, four-looped handles on shoulder; flaring base. Brownish-red impasto; greyish, burnished surface. Seven horizontal ridges on neck; knob on top of handles; four circles on shoulder; two small knobs under each handle; four knobs surrounded by U-shaped, plain cords on belly.

Wide, conical lid; knob shaped like lotus bud. Dark grey-brown impasto; burnished surface. Decorated with four groups of semicircular plain cords.
