Object description: Bevelled rim; tall, wide neck with slightly concave profile; depressed globular body; thick, raised band handle with strut from rim to belly; flat base. Reddish yellow clay; lustrous, reddish yellow slip; lustrous, red to black paint. Inside of rim encircled; vertical strokes on rim; on upper neck dotted lozenge chain between horizontal bands; mid-zone with triglyphs (between triglyphs hatched zone or vertical lozenge chain) and metopes (opposite handle quatrefoil and cross-hatched triangles, other two metopes filled with central star surrounded by dotted circles, contained within circle surrounded by dots); on lower part of neck, row of hatched birds turned left between horizontal bands; on body horizontal, dotted lozenge chain; below three horizontal bands; lower body painted; on handle horizontal lines alternating with crosses.
