Object description: Small, inverted rim; sloping shoulder; almost ovoid body; upright horseshoe shaped handles at shoulder; concave stem; disc base. Porous, pale reddish yellow clay; black glaze. Lower part of handles reserved; rays on shoulder; on both sides of body a draped youth facing left, in the upper field to the right is a “window” (?); both figures are flanked by triangular plamette fans (?) and coiling tendrils; two small and one large palmette fan beneath each handle.

Description: Collection research visit with the aim to study the Ferdinando Galiani collection from Napels, Italy, purchased and brought to Sweden by Gustav III in 1783. The objects belong to the NM Ant collection. Dr Luca Di Franco, Dr Silvio La Paglia from Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Taranto - MArTA, Italy.
