Object description: Mouldmade lamp. Circular body with convex profile; groove indicating a slightly raised base. Rounded shoulder with an inward-sloping moulded rim. On the concave discus, radiating from a raised ring around the asymmetrically located filling-hole, is a band of closely-spaced grooves. The nozzle has shoulder-volutes and a slightly pitched rounded tip. No handle. Mould-marks on base in the form of letters: M ´ S A I. Yellow-grey clay, brownish-red slip. Traces of use, soot after smoke on wick-hole.
