NM Ant 1882 :: lamp

Object description: Mouldmade lamp; circular body with convex profile; slightly raised base-ring, within a mark: P. Voluted nozzle with angular tip. No handle. Flat shoulder; inward-sloping rim. A deep, concave discus has an asymmetrically placed filling-hole. On the discus is a stag, galloping to right. Pale-red clay and finger-marked, dark-brownish slip.
