NM Ant 1912 :: lamp

Object description: Mould-made lamp. Deep, sharply carinated body. The filling-hole area is connected to the wick-hole by a channel outlined by a raised edge. Horizontal shoulder decorated with palm branches, and, at each side of the handle base, raised ring-and dot pattern, resembling clusters of berries. The flat top of the lamp is surrounded by a raised rim. Flat base, defined by an oval base-ring. Semi-fine, pale brown fabric.
