- Object description
- Torso of a man, dressed in a himation leaving chest and right shoulder bare, and falling in long, deeply drilled folds across the body. Weight is on the left leg, right leg is slightly bent. Left arm is bent and the hand is holding part of the drapery. The now mostly missing, right arm, was fully worked in the round. Nearly flat back, only summarily carved with some shallow, diagonal and vertical folds. Coarse-grained, white marble.
