MM 1956:298 :: figurine

Object description: Mouldmade, standing woman. Hollow. Oval face, framed by curly hair above her forehead, one long tress is falling down each shoulder. Diadem on top of head. Dressed in a short peplos that shows her legs from above knees. She is also wearing a cloak. With her right hand she holds an object against her chest, probably a dove. Left hand is carrying a stick. Unmodelled back with a rectangular vent. Light brown clay, traces of red and black colour.
