- Object description
- The hoop consists of a plain wire bent in a succession of zigzag waves. One end of the wire is curved along one side of a circular bezel and terminates in a chased serpent’s head, while the other end is wrought into serpent’s tail, forming four ringlets along the other side of the bezel. The bezel contains a round garnet cabochon in a plain setting surrounded by a plain wire between two rows of granules.
