- Object description
- Flat base; oval body; tall, wide neck tapering upwards; everted rim; angular handles from mid neck to shoulder. Hard buff clay; lustrous orange brownish-red slip. Incised decoration consisting of a frieze of concentric circles connected by oblique and horizontal bands of horizontal lines encircling body; a network of lozenges formed by oblique hatchings encircling shoulder; two horizontal bands of parallel lines, one band of parallel zigzag lines and one band of concentric circles connected by horizontal lines encircling neck; vertical zigzag band on handles.
