Object description

Barrel-shaped body with depressed sides; tall, concave neck; ridge encircling lower neck; funnel rim; handle from ridge to shoulder. Hard, pinkish buff clay; matt, buff slip; matt, brown and dark brown paint.

Brown and dark brown concentric circles on either side of body; two dark brown, winged, latticed lozenges on front and below handle; dark brown band encircling neck-base; brown bands encircling upper neck and rim; dark brown, horizontal strokes on handle; sides of handle painted dark brown.
