Object description: Deep bowl. Plain rim. Deep body. Almost straight sides. Horizontal handles on sides of body. Ring-base. Decoration: Matt brown paint. Exterior; Encircling lines below rim. Encircling band on lower body and on base-ring. Framed frieze between handles consisting of two vertical bands with a zig-zag pattern in the middle, flanked by thin lines on each side. Between the bands, on each side of the bowl, is a cross. Painted handles. Interior: Broad bands below rim, encircling lines on lower body. Hard, buff clay. Matt, light buff slip.
