Object description: Ring-base. Ovoid body. Long, wide, concave neck. Ridge on upper neck. Horizontal mouth. Round, horizontal handles on shoulder. Black band and line encircling inside neck. Four groups of 17 to 22 black, transverse strokes on rim. Red band encircling upper neck, between ridge and rim. Ridge painted black. Five black lines, framed by bands, encircling upper neck. Black, latticed chequersm framed by black, concentric lozenge, en either side of mid-neck and above handles, framed by black leaves, black panels, vertical row of black chevrons and black panels. Red band and six black lines encircling lower neck. Black band encircling neck-base. Black panels on either side of shoulder, framed by vertical, black chevrons with bvlack latticed chequers inside. Black panels , framed by black filled triangles, on either side of shoulder, above handles. Six black lines, framed by black bands, encircling mid-body. Three black bands encircling lower body.Buff clay. Matt, buff slip. Matt, red and black paint.
