NM 0251/1939 :: fragment, bowl

Object description

Fragment of bowl with flat base with slightly protruding foot. Clear glaze on pale slip interior, elements within glaze coloured in reddish black, dark green and mustard. Decoration: Medallion on edge of tondo with black epigraphy, surrounded by black/aubergine colour; adjacent zones in mustard and dark green; all colours slightly run within glaze. Very pale brown slightly crumbly earthenware fabric with fine greyish white sub grits.

Ware: Pb glazed and inglaze painted.
