Object description: Cast in one piece? Large pommel divided into two semi-circular "wings" at right angles to the face of the blade, tapers rapidly to hilt cast in imitation of inlaid flanged hilt complete with slightly concave guard flanges, on same plane as the blade. Oblong shaped blade tapers only slightly to angular point, broad flat midrib rectangular in section. Decorated with imitation of flanges cast on hilt, hanging dotted triangles on band just above ricasso, herring bone pattern between lines on "valley" of pommel, incised? chased?
