Object description: Cast. See MMLur 3: low rim-flanged hilt slightly concave guard sides. Rivet hole in flared pommel. Blade tapers to point, convex sides. 402 has only one rivet hole in pommel. Outer edge of hilt incised decor: guilloche pattern. On both faces of blade: square form with three rows of three running circles, from which runs a guilloche pattern along the blade to near point. Blade has broad, flat, midrib and rectangular section, and a sharp point.
