Object description: Cast. Long cylindrical shaft with triple moulding at base, vertically ridged moulding below neck to blade with loop on one side, double broad ridge on neck, and vertically ridged mouth. Two splayed blades with reinforced upper and lower edges and convex cutting edge at right angle to one another either side of shaft. Decor: knobbed ring circles top of shaft, three ridges on face of shaft, wavy raised ridge encircles shaft at junction to blade, ending in a loop at one side, three raised ridges at bottom of shaft.
