Object description: Wheat and barley were harvested by hand using a sickle. Oxen and other animals were used as threshers, trampling the crops on the ground. Finally, they were tossed up in the air to separate the wheat from the bran. The bran and debris blew away while the heavier grains remained.

Vete och korn skördades för hand med skära. Det tröskades med hjälp av oxar eller andra djur som fick trampa över axen. Till slut skiljdes agnarna från vetet genom att alltihop kastades upp i luften. Skräpet blåste bort, medan de tyngre sädeskornen fanns kvar.
