Object description: Elias Neofytou, goldsmith and the Milia village mukhtar (also mouktar, a civilian administrator, a type of lesser mayor) at the time of the Swedish Cyprusexpedition (1927-1935). He stored the archaeological finds from the excavations in his house. He was married to Panagiota. They got several children; Elena Neofytou, Louvara Neofytou and Neofytos Neofytou.
