Johan Georg Rylander, född 26 oktober1845, Jönköping, död 22 december 1922, uppsyningsman, kontrollör i kinesiska tullverket.

Son till Gustaf Rylander (1822-1893) och Anna Lisa Sandqvist (1814-1896). Familjen flyttade till Stockholm ca 1855. Han startade Kinesiska magasinet 1883. Gift med Maria Sofia Carlsson (Carlsdotter Ramberg) 8 juni 1884. Två veckor efter vigseln reser de till Kina. Sonen Ragnar föds i Kina 1887, därefter föds Irena Maria Elvira 1890 och Aida Helena Sofia 1894. De återvänder till Sverige 1895.
