Object description

Skål av porslin dekorerad i underglasyrblått och emaljfärger. På undersidan finns en stämpel i underglasyrblått som på kinesiska utläses som att tillverkningsperioden är Ming-dynastin, Wan Li.

Enligt professor Ohashi Koji tillverkad under 1690-1720-tal och gjord i Arita som imitation av kinesisk skål, i August den starkes samlig i Dresden finns många av denna typ (Ohashi besökte ÖM 2019 tillsammans med forskaren Louise Cort, togs emot av intendent Michel Lee)./ PH

Bielke, Axel Gabriel (1800-03-28 - 1877-01-17), greve, konstkännare

Beskrivning: Axel Gabriel Bielke af Åkerö, född den 28 mars 1800 på Sturefors i Vist socken, död 17 januari 1877, var greve, kammarherre, tecknare och konstvän.
Han var son till kornetten, greve Gustaf Thure Bielke och Charlotta Hård af Segerstad; ogift.
Han blev kammarherre 1828. Efter en kort tjänstgöring vid det kungliga kansliet drog han sig till det privata livet. Han var en betydande konstsamlare och konstvän, bland annat var han tillsammans med Mikael Gustaf Anckarsvärd och Per Axel Nyström grundare av Sveriges första konstförening, nuvarande Sveriges allmänna konstförening, som bildades 1832. Han blev hedersledamot av Kungliga Akademien för de fria konsterna 1852 och var vice ordförande (så kallad preses) inom akademin från 1871 fram till sin död. Han testamenterade sina dyrbara samlingar till staten. Bland annat donerade han över 2.200 keramiska alster och 10.000 gravyrer till Nationalmuseum. (Wikipedia, 2017)
