Object description

Skål av porslin i Kinrande-typ. Konvexa, rundade sidor och låg fot. Järnröd emaljfärg på utsidan med blomdekor i guld. Insidan dekorerad i underglasyrblått, i spegeln två krysantemer inom dubbla cirklar, längs mynningen rutbård.

Under foten fyra tecken inom dubbla cirklar: Wan fu you tong, (lycka åt alla).

Anmärkning

Från fristående monter i Tang-Ming-salen med porslin med monokroma glasyrer från Ming-dynastin (1368-1644). Enligt montertext: “Skål i Kinrande-typ. Järnröd emaljfärg med blomdekor i guld. Insidan dekorerad i underglasyrblått. Under foten fyra karaktärer inom dubbla cirklar. Wan fu you tong, lycka åt alla. Testamentarisk gåva av Greta och Georg Edlund.”

Höjd 6,5 cm, diam. 13 cm.

Edlund, Georg

Beskrivning: Georg Viktor Emanuel Edlund, född 26 mars 1907, Karlskrona, Blekinge län, död 9 september 1989, Linnég 51-53, Stockholm, ingenjör. Son till Martin Larsson Edlund (1869-1941)
och Ottilia Elisabet Velander (1880-1967). Gift 24 september 1938 med Greta Thunberg (1907-1966). Omgift 16 maj 1968 med Marion Louise Edlund (1912-1991). Vid tiden för Gretas död bodde paret på Triewaldsgränd 2, Gamla stan, Stockholm. Georg donerade samlingar efter Greta till Nordiska museet. Efter Georg död testamenterades samlingar från Greta och Georg till Östasiatiska museet.

Beskrivning: Greta Klara Sofia Edlund (född Thunberg), född 20 september 1907, Karlskrona, Blekinge län, död 6 september 1966, Triewaldsgränd 2, Gamla stan, Stockholm. Dotter till Konrad Sven Magnus Thunberg (1873-1929) och Klara Amanda Petersson (1876-1944). Gift 24 september 1938 med Georg Edlund (1907-1989). Efter sin död donerade maken delar av hennes garderob till Nordiska museet. Efter Georgs död testamenterades samlingar till Östasiatiska museet.
