Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Ming, 16th century. Description: Dark brown horn. Interior with some incised lines; exterior in shape of prunus trunk and blossoming branches. Measures: H. 68mm L. at lip 130mm; at base 64mm. Purchased: In Stockholm 1970 at the Nordiska Kompaniet. Sw.Cr. 1,275:- Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2604.”

Enligt HM-kort: Noshörningsbägare i form av prunusstam med blommande grenar.

Material: Mörkbrunt horn.

Närmare tidsbestämning: Ming, 1500-tal.
