Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer box and cover. Period: First half of 18th century. Description: Octagonal, with flat top and base slanting towards straight sides, low foot-rim. Decorated in laque burgautée and p’ing t’o. On cover in centre a chrysantemum, from which eight S-curved petals radiate. Sealmark on base: Lü Chen Tzu (? Kung Chen Tzu). Measures: W. 73 mm. Purchased: Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2601. Dossier: B. Gyllensvärd: BMFEA 44/1972, Pl. 22. Expo: BM London 1972, No 165, Denmark 1975, No 156.”
