Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer dish. Period: Late Ming. Description: Square, with widening straight sides, turned-in corners, on low corner feet. Black lacquer, inlaid with mother-of-pearl in pai-pao-chien technique, depicting a cikada on a branch of flowers. Measures: W. 105 x 105mm. H. 11mm. Purchased: Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2485. Dossier: B. Gyllensvärd: BMFEA 44/1972, Pl. 15c. Compare No 2592 (ÖM 1974:1676.”

Enligt katalogkort: Litet fyrkantigt fat med inlagd dekor av cikada bland blommor.

Material: Svart lack inlagt med jade, pärlemor m.m. i olika färger.
