Object description

Liten kopp av lack, från Kina. Koppen är på utsidan dekorerad med mönster i upphöjd relief, på insidan skodd med metall. Även undersidan har reliefdekor.

Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer cup. Period: 13-14th century. Description: Carved lacquer. Small cup with nearly straight sides, thick, everted mouth and rounded contracted foot. The outside has a cloud-scroll design of ju-i type carved in guri-style. Three-foiled pattern on base. Month and inside lined with silver. Measures: D. 62mm H. 43mm. Purchased: Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2407. Dossier: J. Wirgin: BMFEA 44/1972, Pl. 4a. Expo: Denmark 1975, No 150.”

Enligt HM-kort: Liten kopp av Guru-lack i rött och svart. Invändigt försilvrad kopparskoning.

Material: Reliefdekor i röda och svarta skikt.
