Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Ming. Description: Brown horn, somewhat translucent around lip. Oval-shaped. Exterior covered with magnolia flowers, buds and leaves. At foot ling-shih fungus. Stalks forming four feet. Inside plain, except for two incised leaves growing over the rim. Measures: H. 70mm L. at lip 134mm, at base 40mm. Purchased: In London 1960 at Marchant. £ 25-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2308.”
