Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: 17th century. Description: Yellowish-brown horn, darker brown at base. Two trunks of wu-t’ung trees form the handle; branches growing over the lip onto interior. Exterior decorated with two immortals and three horses. Under the pouring side of lip an inscribed poem. Dated 1668. Measures: H. 115mm L. at lip 165mm; at base 50mm. Purchased: In London at Christie’s, 1965. £ 115-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2423. Dossier: Expo: BM, London 1972, No 195.”
