Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Late Ming/Early Ch’ing, 17th century. Description: Pale brown horn, shading in yellow on exterior. Carved from point of horn; cup in shape of lotus leaf, supported by four long stalks with flowers and leaves in open-work. Measures: H. 245mm L. at lip 165mm. Purchased: In London 1957 at Norton’s. £ 22-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2200. Dossier: Expo: USA 1966, Stockholm 1967, No 146; BM, London 1972, No 194.”
