Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros wine cup. Period: Probably 17th century. Description: Dark brown horn, inside blackish-brown. Exterior decorated with lotus flowers, leaves and stalks in high relief. Branch of nine stalks tied together forming handle. Inside two fishes. Measures: H. 68mm L. at lip 147mm, at base 80mm. Purchased: In London 1960, at Sotheby’s. £ 82-0-0. Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2301.”

Enligt HM-kort: Vinbägare i form av lotusblad med stjälkar, blommor och blad i relief. Invändigt två fiskar.

Material: Noshörningshorn av mörk bärnstensfärg.

Närmare tidsbestämning: Trol. 1600-tal.
