Ding - kokkärl av brons för offerbruk. Kärl på tre ben med två U-formade handtag. Halvsfärisk form. Kring mynningen bård i relief av cikador. Mycket korroderat.

Hellström bought it at Devine. Had belonged to Dr. H. Mueller in Peking who got it from Peking.

Utställningstext - engelska

Ding - cooking vessel for sacrificial use. Bronze. Vessel of hemispherical form with three legs and two handles. On the upper part of the body border of cikadas in relief.

Strongly corroded. Dark-green patina with heavy green, sometimes bluish, incrustations.

Shang, Early Anyang period.
